In eBay it is not easy for seller to sell item for profit. As a seller you have to face many problems. How?
If you are seller, you might be already faced various kind of problems from buyer. Like buyer bought the item from you but didn’t pay for this, buyer not happy with your item, buyers don’t have any basic knowledge on how to use your item and so on.
It is a basic problem and as a seller you should try to solve this kind of problem with your best effort to make your buyer happy. If your buyers are happy they will also left good feedback for you which is most important in eBay.
But the most disturbing problem comes to you when your buyer is a stupid. Imagine you have sold a item in eBay and send it to the buyer address. After 4-6 days (Maximum for local delivery) your buyer sends a message that he / she didn’t receive your item. Ok, you replay the buyer that you are going to send another one as soon as possible (last option to solve this problem). After couple of days later again your buyer sends you message that he/she didn’t receive your item and open a case in eBay.
Then eBay ask you to provide proof that you have sent the item. It could be tracking number. But you have used the 1st or 2nd class stamp for your item because it was not so expensive and you don’t have any tracking number. You also use the manual system for dispatch process.
If you can’t provide the proof of postage, eBay will take the side of buyer and you have to loose your money. Even you have to carry loses also.
Because eBay is going to refund the full money of your sold item as well as you will loose the money of your item and delivery cost.
You will be very disappointed on your buyer behaviour. You 100% sure that you have sent the item and the address was correct. But you have to refund the money, because you don’t have proof of postage.
So try to use 1st class or 2nd class recorded delivery minimum for your sold eBay item. And keep the tracking number or postage receipt carefully. So you can easily solve this kind problem if you got in future from buyer.
